Micah Paulson scored 24 points, including two key 3-pointers late, to lead the Titans past the visiting Plainsmen.

The win capped an unbeaten league season for the Class 4A Greater St. Helens League champion Titans (19-1 overall).

Next up for the Titans is a home district playoff game on Feb. 18.

Evergreen (12-7, 7-4) is third in the league. The Plainsmen are a game in front of fourth-place Battle Ground, the team they visit on Thursday.

Tuesday’s game was close throughout. It took two Paulson 3-pointers to give the Titans some late breathing room. Those shots were his fourth and fifth 3-pointers of the contest.

Cameron Cranston scored 11 points for Union, while Riley Hawken had nine points and 10 rebounds.

Evergreen had three players finish in double figures, with Tyrus Hosley and Greg Washington each scoring 15 points and Robert Franks adding 13 points.
