Boys basketball: Woodland 54, R.A. Long 36

The Woodland Beavers clinched a top-four spot in the Class 2A Greater St. Helens League — which means a playoff spot for the district tournament.

Tanner Sixberry scored 12 points, and Ryan Sturdivan and Jake Rosenbalm each scored 10 for the Beavers, who led by 13 at the half and cruised from there.

Woodland had 19 assists on its 22 field goals. Troy Flanagan had five assists. Tanner Froeber and Sturdivan each had four.

Bryce Mulder shined on defense with three blocked shots. He also had a team-high eight rebounds.
