Boys basketball: Union 96, Mountain View 62

Cameron Cranston scored 24 points, and the top-ranked Union Titans won their 16th consecutive game.

Riley Hawken added 14, Carson Brucher had 11, and Micah Paulson and Stephan Ammentorp each had 10 for the Titans.

Union, No. 1 in the AP’s statewide poll for 4A teams, improved to 18-1, 11-0 in the 4A Greater St. Helens League. The Titans have already clinched the No. 1 seed to the district tournament but are trying to complete an undefeated league season.

The Titans have won their last eight games by an average of 30 points per game.

Mountain View’s Ari Smith connected on six 3-pointers and led the Thunder with 20 points. Jake Ryan added 14 points for Mountain View.
