Girls basketball: Hockinson 56, Hudson’s Bay 22

Payton Wangler scored 16 points and Keeley Nordberg 13 to pace the visiting Hawks in the 2A Greater St. Helens League win.

Hockinson (11-8, 7-4 GSHL) built a 25-point halftime lead.

Brittany McGuire had 12 rebounds, five steals and two blocked shots for Hockinson. Sydnie Cole-Vogler had five steals and five assists, and Nordberg grabbed eight rebounds.

Hudson’s Bay finished its season 2-16 overall, 1-11 in league play.
