Students at Daybreak Primary and Middle schools will act in the play “Robin Hood” in two public performances at 3 and 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the Daybreak cafeteria, 1900 N.W. 20th Ave., Battle Ground. Tickets are available at the door and cost $2 per person or $10 for immediate family.

The cast of the Missoula Children’s Theatre production includes 65 Daybreak students in kindergarten through eighth grades. The students have been rehearsing after school all week with the theater group. Students auditioned on Monday for roles, including the Duke of Sandwich, Baroness of Beef, Sir the Other Guy, foresters, horsemen and Robin Hood.

Based in Missoula, Mont., the Missoula Children’s Theatre is a nonprofit organization that works with schools to produce plays on a one-week time line. The residency at Daybreak was made possible by Daybreak School PTA with help from Opdahl Chiropractic.

Daybreak Primary and Middle schools are part of Battle Ground Public Schools.
