Girls basketball: Columbia River 63, Fort Vancouver 20

Megan Bloom had 16 points and freshman Gabrielle Collins came off the bench to add a career-high 12 points as River clinched at least a tie for second place in the 3A GSHL.

The Chieftains can clinch second outright with a win at Kelso on Friday.

Kate Kraft added 13 points and seven rebounds and Emma Fisk had six points and seven rebounds for River.
