An eight-point advantage in the second quarter proved to be the difference for the host Lumberjacks (9-9, 5-5).

J.D. Wolniewicz scored 12 points and Travis Gottsch 11 for Ridgefield, but the Spudders (7-10, 3-8) could never get possession with a chance to tie or take the lead down the stretch.

Payton Miller led R.A. Long with 16 points. The Lumberjacks made only 8 of their 18 free throws, while the Spudders were 1 for 2 from the line.
