Boys basketball: Evergreen 95, Mountain View 76

Evergreen 95, Mountain View 76 — The Plainsmen controlled the middle quarters to overcome an early deficit and roll past the Thunder in a fast-paced game.

Robert Franks scored 25 points and Tyrus Hosley added 20 for Evergreen, which trailed 15-13 after a quarter then outscored Mountain View 55-30 in the seocnd and third periods combined.

Mountain View outscored Evergreen 31-27 in the fourth quarter, but could not make up the deficit.

Kobey Eaton scored nine of his 13 points to lead Evergreen in third first quarter.

Logan Hansen scored 20 points, and Alex Bailey and Troy Pacheo each added 16 for the Thunder, who made 12 3-point goals.
