LEGISLATOR OF THE YEAR AWARD
The Associated General Contractors’ Washington chapter named state Sen. Ann Rivers, R-La Center, Legislator of the Year in recognition of her work to encourage job creation. The award was presented last week at the trade association’s 2015 convention in Seattle. Rivers could not leave the Capitol, where lawmakers were in the third week of the 2015 legislative session, and accepted the award by video.
