Letter: County residents need help

The Columbian

So the county councilors want to post “In God We Trust” in the county’s main public hearing room. OK, but in the spirit of listening to the voice of the people I might suggest a slight variation on the theme. As they cast their eyes to the heavens (and roll them, as well), the voices of so many county residents during and after hearings involving the antics of David Madore and Tom Mielke can be heard to exclaim, “God help us!” As long as these two continue to make Clark County the laughingstock of the state and the nation, there can be no better motto for our county.
