Gifford Pinchot National Forest snow report 12/31

Mount Adams — Approximately 48 inches at Flattop, Atkisson, Pineside and SnowKing sno-parks.

Trails at Pineside and SnowKing were groomed on Monday.

Road No. 88 from Flattop is closed to all use near Big Tire junction due to a slide. The automated reporting site at Surprise Lakes, elevation 4,290 feet, has 77 inches.

Upper Wind River — Thirty-six to 48 inches at Oldman Pass, McClellan Meadows and Koshko sno-parks. Forty-eight inches or more at Lone Butte Sno-Park. Six to 10 inches at Government Mineral Springs. The roads are plowed, but have compact snow.

Mount St. Helens — Thirty-six inches at Cougar Sno-Park. Sixty inches at Marble Mountain Sno-Park. The automated reporting site at June Lake, elevation 3,440 feet, has 71 inches.
