SAN FRANCISCO — Tim Derksen had 22 of his career-high 27 points in the second half and San Francisco rallied from an 11-point halftime deficit to beat Portland 107-95 on Thursday night.
Devin Watson added 22 points and seven assists for the Dons (8-5, 2-1 West Coast Conference), who conceded 62 first-half points and trailed 81-66 with 12:59 to play.
Derksen scored 15 over the next 6:12, including the 3-point play that capped San Francisco’s 26-8 run to take the lead at 92-89.
Portland (8-8, 2-1) trailed 98-95 with 3:23 to go but missed its last eight 3-point attempts, five of which had a chance to tie. San Francisco scored the final nine points.
