To give teens a fresh start in 2016, the city of Vancouver, Kaiser Permanente and Bridge Chiropractic are having a toiletry drive for the Pantry Project, which provides essentials to nearly 12,000 students in Evergreen Public Schools.
Deodorant, laundry detergent, shampoo and conditioner, feminine hygiene products, toilet paper, toothpaste, body wash, hand soap, hairstyling products, socks, underwear and gloves are the most-needed donations. Starting Thursday, new, unopened toiletries can be dropped off at 16 locations around Vancouver until Jan. 14:
