Felida — Skyview High School’s Jeffrey Walker was honored with a Teacher of Excellence Award by Evergreen State College in Olympia for making a significant impact on the lives of students.
Incoming Evergreen students nominate former teachers of theirs for the award, and Walker was nominated by Samantha Schlotz, who wrote in her nomination that Walker “goes out of his way to help students with anything they need.”
