Off-highway-vehicle racing slated Friday at Washougal MX Park

WASHOUGAL — The gates open at 6 a.m. Thursday at Washougal MX Park, 40205 N.E. Borin Road, for the 45th annual Hangover Scrambles, a day of off-highway-vehicle racing.

The event is presented by the Jones Creek Trail Riders Association and raises money to be used by the association to maintain the Jones Creek trail system in eastern Clark County.

Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. and is open until 30 minutes before the start of each race. The first races begin at 8:30 a.m.

The gate entry fee is $10 per person, with ages 7 to 14 admitted for $5 each. Race entry fees start at $40 for the first event, with discounts for additional entries.

Camping cost $10 per vehicle.
