Prairie jumped out to 15-2 lead then had to withstand a furious second-half comeback from Bismarck to finish the Gillette (Wyo.) Energy Classic with a win.

Seth Hall led the Falcons with 17 points, and Palmer Goecke, who was selected to the all-tournament team, added 14 points.

Prairie (7-3) led 36-13 at halftime, but Bismarck made 12 of 15 3-point attempts in the second half to make it close.

“To their credit, Bismarck did a great job getting back into the game with their shooting,” Prairie coach Kyle Brooks said.
