Ry Paulsen scored 20 points, including six 3-pointers, to lead Hockinson at the Vince Dulcich Christmas Tournament in Astoria, Ore.

Paulsen hit two 3-pointers in the first quarter, which ended with the Hawks up 19-8. He hit two more in the second quarter to give Hockinson a 31-15 halftime lead.

“He really ignited us in the first half,” Hockinson coach Manny Melo said. “They played a lot of zone. We capitalized by shooting over the top of it.”

Hockinson (4-5) concludes play at the two-day event Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. against an opponent to be determined.
