The Trappers could not sustain a shot start as the Monarchs pulled away by making free throws down the stretch.
Miracle Alford scored all 12 of his points on four 3-pointers in the first quarter as Fort led 18-15. But the Trappers only managed five points in the second quarter as the Monarchs took control.
Fort rallied to make the game close early in the fourth quarter before Mark Morris converted 11 of 12 free throws down the stretch to seal the win.
Ronald Owens also scored 12 points for the Trappers (3-6).
