An allegedly suicidal man crashed his car into an occupied house in the Rose Village neighborhood Sunday night, according to Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp. No one was injured.

Emergency personnel responded to 2617 T St. just after 10 p.m. for a report of a vehicle that crashed into a house, Kapp said.

Three occupants inside the home were not injured, Kapp said, but the house sustained serious structural damage.

The man who was driving the car had been experiencing suicidal thoughts and left the scene of the crash, Kapp said.

He was located at his residence a short time later and was taken to a hospital for a mental health evaluation, Kapp said.
