A windstorm is expected to blow through Clark County on Monday, bringing with it possible property damage and power outages, according to a National Weather Service high-wind warning issued Sunday.
The warning is in effect from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., when wind speeds of 25 to 40 mph, with 65 mph gusts in the afternoon, are forecast.
Peak winds are expected between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The warning covers Northwest Oregon and Southwest Washington, including Vancouver, Battle Ground, Washougal, and the western Columbia River Gorge.
Travel along the coast is expected to be particularly hazardous, according to the warning.
