Turnover troubles caught up with the visiting Falcons in overtime of their non-league loss to the Pioneers. Oregon City outscored Prairie 12-3 in overtime to secure the win.

Prairie coach Brett Johnson said he was proud of the effort, but that 18 turnovers were too many to beat a quality opponent like Oregon City.

Five players scored in double figures for Prairie (5-2). Kris Rocci had 13 points and eight rebounds for the Falcons and Cherita Daugherty had 12 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. Natalie Whitesel had 10 points and seven rebounds.

“We did our job. We just came up short,” Johnson said.
