Girls basketball: Camas 27, Union 25

Haley Hanson led Camas with nine points and the defense stood tough in the final seconds.

With seven seconds left, Union had a chance to tie the game. But the Camas defense caused the play to go awry and the Titans never got a clear look at the basket.

Camas (5-1, 2-0) led 16-10 at halftime after outscoring Union 8-1 in the second quarter.

Kili Anderson had eight points and seven rebounds for Union (5-2, 1-1).
