The Eagles defense limited the Tigers to 18 points through three quarters to win at the North Marion Holiday Tournament in Aurora, Ore.

Hudson’s Bay (3-4) faces Baker (Ore.) at 3:30 p.m. Saturday to close out the three-day tournament.

Eagles coach Theo Mikaele said his team played with a lot more energy on Friday than it had in a Thursday loss to Molalla (Ore.).

“We had a really good defensive start,” Mikaele said. “We played really good team defense. Guys were tlking to each other and we had a couple of steals off of the press.”

Quentin Raynor led Hudson’s Bay with 18 points and Quadrese Teague added 15.

The Eagles led 50-18 at the end of the third quarter.
