Boys basketball: Evergreen 87, Heritage 29

Nine players scored, five of them in double figures, as the host Plainsmen ran to a 4A Greater St. Helens League win.

Payton Monda scored a game-high 18 points and Tyrus Hosley had 16 points, eight rebounds and four assists for Evergreen (4-2, 2-0). Jacob Patrick grabbed 10 rebounds.

For Heritage (1-5, 0-2), Nick Morse scored 10 points.
