Clark County — Members of the Rotary Club of Clark County built eight little libraries, which will be placed in neighborhoods throughout the county and stocked with free books for children to borrow or take and replace with a different book.

Shurway Lumber donated lumber for the libraries, Rotary recognition engraving of the name plaques was donated by On The Spot Engraving and Vancouver Sign donated space to build and all of the router cutting. Members constructed the libraries, and at a meeting on Dec. 3, voted for their favorite.

Vancouver Sign’s library was picked as the winner, and $500 was raised for the Rotary during voting. Placement of the libraries has not been determined yet.
