Washougal’s “Big Three” led the way as the Panthers played what coach Brian Oberg called their “best defensive effort of the year.”
“They are a great shooting team, and we completely shut them down in the second and third quarters,” Oberg said of Centralia.
Tied 9-9 after one quarter, Washougal pushed its advantage to 41-20 after three quarters.
Freshman Beyonce Bea had 18 points and 11 rebounds, RaeAnn Allen had 18 points and 10 rebounds and Alyssa Blankenship added 16 points and 11 rebounds.
“Those three came to play in the second half,” Oberg said.
