Columbian readers can select year’s top 10 stories

After poring over 50 weeks of headlines, our readers — both paper- and pixel-based — now have one week to consider all that news, and answer this question:

What was Clark County’s biggest story of 2015? And what were the next most important?

Was the year’s biggest newsmaker part of the political realm? Or was the area’s top story a reflection of social, environmental or economic influences?

The Columbian’s newsroom staff already has done some sifting and sorting to produce a ballot with 25 candidates. The results of our in-house voting will be tabulated in a few days and will determine the Top 10 package we’ll announce on Dec. 27.

Now our readers can evaluate the same ballot and select their collective top 10, including their No. 1 story of 2015. The readers’ Top 10 will run as part of our Dec. 27 package. The ballot is at www.surveymonkey.com/r/7WNY2NN

The deadline to participate is 5 p.m. Dec. 23.
