East Minnehaha — Despite pouring rain, the 17th annual Kruze for the Kids fundraiser roared through the Benny’s Rod & Custom Pizza Cafe parking lot on Dec. 5, raising $1,548 for Open House Ministries.
The event, hosted by the RoadMasters car club, brought out plenty of old cars decked out in holiday lights and guests filled a trailer with donated toys and food.
