Boys basketball: Hockinson 70, W.F. West 50

A 26-point second quarter carried the Hawks to a non-league win over the visiting Bobcats.

Kinai Kiyokawa scored 22 points to lead the way for Hockinson (3-3). He was 8 for 8 from the foul line and made a pair of 3-pointers.

Five players scored during the big second quarter that gave the Hawks a 17-point halftime lead. Hockinson hit four of its 10 3-pointers during the second quarter.

Ry Paulsen hit five 3-pointers in the first half for his 15 points on the night.
