The Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency, the emergency management agency in Clark County, is collecting data on property damage sustained during last week’s stormy weather in an effort to secure federal disaster relief money.

The assessment doesn’t guarantee assistance, but those who were impacted need to report it to local or county authorities to be eligible, the agency said in a news release.

Officials are looking at damage from flooding, rain, landslides, wind or tornado sustained between Nov. 30 and Dec. 13. Reported damage must be to a primary residence and not covered by homeowners insurance. Second homes, storage buildings, shops and detached garages are not eligible for assistance.

Affected residents are asked to complete a survey at http://goo.gl/forms/Yv1ELrgujE. For help or more information on the forms, call the program manager at 360-992-6289.

The preliminary surveys must be finished by 5 p.m. Dec. 28 so the information can get to the state on time, the agency said.
