Freshman Ahna Burney had 21 points and Evergreen took over the game with its defensive pressure to win a non-league at Rochester.
Rochester came out hot, hitting three 3-pointer in the first quarter to take a 18-8 lead.
But Evergreen turned up the pressure on defense, holding the Warriors to 12 total points in the second and third quarters.
Lexi Burney had six points and 12 rebounds for the Plainsmen (2-3).
