The hot shooting and chilling defense continued for Prairie.

For the second straight game, the Falcons made 14 3-pointers to beat a 4A Greater St. Helens League team.

Grace Prom scored 24 points to lead Prairie (3-1), which handed Union its first loss on Wednesday. The Falcons tallied 16 assists and shot 55 percent from the field Friday.

“We’re really trying to concentrate on passing the ball around and taking the open shot,” Prairie coach Brett Johnson said. “We still want to shoot a lot and play fast, but we want to pass the ball a few times to create a better shot.”

Cherita Daugherty added 13 points and freshman Mallory Williams had nine rebounds.

Kylie Smith scored seven points to lead Battle Ground (1-2).
