Idaho junior forward Kavita Battan was named All-Pacific Region Second Team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

The Hockinson High School graduate led Idaho with 25 points in 2015, as the Vandals capped off their most successful season to date.

Her 10 goals were the fourth best total in the Big Sky Conference and are the third most in a single season in program history. Battan also earned All-Big Sky First Team honors scoring the second-most goals (six) in the conference during league play.

The Vandals finished the season 14-4-3, winning the Big Sky Conference regular season championship with a 9-0-1 mark and falling in the conference tournament championship game to Northern Colorado in penalty kick.

Idaho was as high as ninth in the NCSAA Pacific Region rankings dominated by Pacific-12 Conference teams, the highest ranking in program history.
