In celebration of the Portland Timbers’ first MLS Cup championship, the club announced that it will host a parade through downtown Portland beginning at noon Tuesday.
The Timbers will also hold a rally at Providence Park starting at 6 p.m., with gates for the free stadium event opening at 5 p.m.
The championship parade route is on Broadway between Stark and Madison.
Fans also will have the opportunity to purchase MLS Cup championship merchandise at the championship rally at Providence Park. That event is free and open to the public.
