A look back and ahead at what’s happening in Clark College athletics:

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Notable: The Penguins (4-0) are ranked third in the Dec. 3 NWAC coaches poll. They have won their first four games by an average of 27 points.

Next games: Concordia JV at Clark, 7 p.m. Thursday; Peninsula at Clark, 5 p.m. Saturday.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Notable: The Penguins (4-2) are tied for eighth in the Dec. 3 NWAC coaches poll. Saturday’s 85-67 loss at Centralia ended Clark’s four-game win streak.

Next games: Home opener — Lower Columbia at Clark, 6 p.m. Wednesday; Walla Walla at Clark, 1 p.m. Sunday; Yakima Valley at Clark, 2 p.m. Monday.
