The Health Systems Quality Assurance Division of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.

In July, the Unlicensed Practice Program notified Ying Liu of its intent to issue a cease-and-desist order. Liu allegedly provided massage treatment without a license.

In July, the Unlicensed Practice Program notified Jingli Liang of its intent to issue a cease-and-desist order. Liang allegedly provided massage treatment without a license.

In July, the secretary of health ordered Hui Jun Zhu to cease and desist from the practice of massage, and pay a $1,000 fine. Zhu, who doesn’t have a massage practitioner license, owns a business that advertised massage and where an unlicensed employee allegedly provided massage.

In July, the secretary of health charged mental health counselor Kerrin Lane Houser with unprofessional conduct and immediately suspended her credential. Houser’s licensed professional counselor credential in Oregon was revoked in June.
