Girls basketball: Evergreen 50, Fort Vancouver 31

Ahna Burney scored a game-high 18 points as Evergreen used a big third quarter to take control of the non-league game at Fort Vancouver.

Burney scored six points as the Plainsmen (1-2) went on a 13-0 run to close out the third quarter, taking a 31-23 advantage and turning it into a 44-23 edge after three quarters.

Sydney Brugman paced the Trappers (1-1) with seven points as every player on the Fort roster scored at least one point.
