Division I recruit Roberto Gittens got the best of Battle Ground on Friday night, scoring 31 points in a victory over the Tigers.
Daelon Floyd led Battle Ground with 20 points and six rebounds in the team’s first game of the season.
“The intensity was really good,” Battle Ground coach Wes Armstrong said. “Forced them into tough shots. Unfortuantely, they made a lot of them.”
Kellen Butler had eight points and six assists for Battle Ground. Kobe Ford and Kyle Cahoon each had eight points.
