Car show to benefit Open House Ministries

Ever seen vintage cars with wreaths on their rims, strung up in lights? Saturday is your chance to see some hot rods decked out for the holidays.

The RoadMasters car club is holding its 17th annual Kruze for the Kids, which benefits Open House Ministries’ shelter. For the seventh year, it will be at Benny’s Rod & Custom Pizza Cafe, on St. Johns Road north of Highway 500.

“It’s really a hoot,” said Judy McMorine, development director at Open House. “They love this car show.”

The car show is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the cafe, 4219 N.E. St. Johns Road. Those who attend are asked to bring $5 and a toy or canned food donation. All of the proceeds go to Open House Ministries.
