Skyview student attends arts program in Michigan

Salmon Creek — Aaron Yewman was accepted into the Interlochen Arts Camp this summer, where he studied jazz percussion. The Skyview High School student participates in marching band, jazz band, wind ensemble and concert band. The music program is open to students in grades three through 12, and they learn from world-class instructors and produce hundreds of presentations each summer. Alumni of the camp, which is in Michigan, include Norah Jones, Josh Groban and Rufus Wainwright.
