A local event has been scheduled as part of a National Day of Protest set for Planned Parenthood locations across the country.
The local protest is 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Planned Parenthood, 11516 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., Suite 2-E. The event will include a prayer vigil and protest signs.
“Concerned local citizens from Vancouver will be sending the message that it’s well past time for Planned Parenthood to be investigated and funding stopped,” said Robert Seemuth, local organizer.
The National Day of Protest will include events at more than 280 Planned Parenthood offices, according to organizers.
