Clark County artists who have been active for a long enough time to build up a substantial body of work and make a difference in service of local culture are eligible for a Lifetime Achievement Award in arts and culture for 2015. Nominees are being sought by the Clark County Arts Commission.
Nominees must be at least 60 years old, current or previous longtime Clark County residents, and active or recently retired from a major area of the arts, like: visual and graphic arts, dance, drama, music, film, architecture, literature — or education and advocacy.
Nomination packets are due to Barbara Wright, Clark County Arts Commissioner, by Sept. 11. Contact Wright with questions about nomination requirements at bawwright@clarkcountyartscommission.org.
