Police say a Vancouver woman suspected of driving under the influence of intoxicants with two children in her car caused a crash Tuesday night north of Battle Ground.

Myah Lovett, 33, was driving a 2007 Volkswagen Eos two-door west on Rock Creek Road when she didn’t stop for a stop sign at state Highway 503, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The Volkswagen hit a silver 2014 Honda CRV that was traveling north on the highway at about 8:30 p.m., State Patrol said.

The driver of the Honda, Rhonda Elston, 57, of La Center, was injured and taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, where she was treated and released.

Lovett and two children in her vehicle, ages 5 and 7, were not injured. Lovett faces a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants and two counts of reckless endangerment, according to WSP.
