Ridgefield — Ali Serface, a graduate from Ridgefield High School, sold her steer last year for more than $17,000, which went to Youth Efforts Against Hunger (Y.E.A.H.), and she’s back at the Clark County Fair looking to top that this year.

The money last year helped the organization donate more than 9,500 pounds of locally raised food to the Clark County Food Bank.

Serface is the president of the Y.E.A.H. Youth Council, and spent the last year organizing fundraisers, making presentations to local companies and organizations and appearing on local television shows to get more people involved with the group’s efforts.
