Teams from up and down the Pacific Coast are at Vancouver Lake this weekend to take part in the Pacific Dragon Boat Association Championships.

Teams are competing for spots in the International Dragon Boat Federation 2016 Club World Championships in Australia.

Also held at Vancouver Lake this weekend is the Paddle West Challenge Cup for teams novices and up. Winners of this event do not qualified for the world championships.

Racing concludes Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Admission is free. Spectators should bring their own chairs and the best viewing is on the west side of the lake.
