Literary, theater and musical artists from Clark County high schools will perform at 7 p.m. May 6 at the Kiggins Theatre, 1011 Main St., in an event presented by the Clark County Arts Commission. Connecting Schools and Galleries features high school artists who have performed in the county’s Public Service Center’s Sixth Floor Gallery during the 2013 through 2015 school years. During the free, public event, students’ work will be re-created on stage while images from the gallery show at which they performed are projected behind them.

Connecting Schools and Galleries is the kickoff for Spotlight on Young Performing Artists, a commission program to encourage collaboration among educators, students and gallery owners while providing performance opportunities.
