The Clark County Veterans Assistance Center will hold its third annual fundraising event on Friday, May 15, at the Heathman Lodge, 7801 N.E. Greenwood Drive.

The center was created by veterans to provide services and resources for veterans in transition.

“This is our largest fundraising event,” chairwoman Judy Russel said in a news release. While some local tax dollars are earmarked for veterans’ assistance, “The eligibility criteria is very specific. The fundraiser allows us to provide other services and sponsor events for local veterans in transition or need.”

Tickets are $60 a person, $110 per couple or $500 for a table of 10.

The event includes dinner, cocktails, live and silent auctions, and entertainment provided by Dave’s Killer Magic.

For information on auction packages or to purchase tickets, go to www.charityauctionorganizer.com/auction/event. Tickets also can be purchased by calling the Veterans Assistance Center at 360-693-6030 or by email at chairman@ccvac.net.
