LONG BEACH — Razor clam digging will be open Saturday and Sunday at Long Beach, Twin Harbors and Mocrocks beaches on the Washington coast.
The state Department of Fish and Wildlife announced this week that marine toxin tests indicate the clams are safe to eat.
Low tide is 0.2 feet at 6:23 a.m. Saturday and 0.3 feet at 6:59 a.m. Sunday.
All spring digs are scheduled on morning low tides. No digging after noon is allowed.
An annual razor clam license costs $13 for Washington residents and $20.70 for others. A three-day clam license costs $8.60 for residents and non-residents alike. An annual combination fishing and shellfish license costs $54.25 for state residents and $123.55 for others.
