A photo contest is inviting participants to submit their best nature and wildlife images taken at the Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge east of Washougal.
The contest is sponsored by Columbia Gorge Refuge Stewards, a Washougal-based environmental group, and Pro Photo Supply. Entries will be accepted until May 17, according to organizers.
The contest, which is free, only will accept online entries. Submissions can be entered through Pro Photo Supply at www.prophotosupply.com/events/contests.htm.
Prizes include a GoPro Hero camera to the first-place winner, plus gift cards to the second- and third-place winners and honorable mentions. Honorees also will receive a one-year family membership to Columbia Gorge Refuge Stewards.
