Patrol officers with the Vancouver Police Department targeted distracted drivers during the first two weeks of April. During the campaign, police cited 63 drivers — most of whom were talking on a cellphone while driving. Additionally, police gave out 32 warnings, arrested three suspended divers and arrested one person on a warrant.

The 33 hours of overtime used during the campaign was paid for through a traffic safety grant.
